We were absolutely delighted to create the bespoke wedding florals for Judith and Ryan’s wonderful celebration at the historic Cabra Castle.
For Judith’s bridal bouquet, we put together an opulent and romantic summer design built around fluffy garden roses and ruffled coral-pink peonies, lifting the arrangement with architectural deep raspberry calla lilies and delicate white sweet peas, all finished with long trails of green amaranthus that gave the bouquet such an effortless, organic movement as she walked down the stairs.
The bridesmaids wore soft blush dresses that paired beautifully with slightly more compact versions of the bridal arrangement, while Ryan and his groomsmen looked exceptionally sharp in classic black tie finished with elegant ivory rosebud buttonholes detailed with trailing amaranthus tips. For their ceremony space, we framed the aisle entrance with a draped greenery and fairy light arch before leading up to two statement floral urns elevated on white plinths at the top of the room, packed with tall delphiniums, summer hydrangeas, and trailing foliage, all anchored at the floor by modular floral meadows.
Moving into the castle for the evening reception, the grand ballroom was styled with tall gold candelabras set on mirrored bases alongside delicate bud vases, and we repurposed the ceremony floor meadow directly beneath the cake table in the blossom tree alcove to tie the entire room together under the warm glow of candlelight.
As a luxury wedding florist in Northern Ireland and Ireland, working in a grand, character-rich venue like Cabra Castle with a colour palette that embraces bold berry tones alongside classic whites is always such a pleasure. Get in touch to get booked in for your wedding.
